The Omni Grove Park Inn is a spectacular Arts and Crafts Hotel with a spa from your dreams, multiple restaurants, a recreation center, bars, lavish rooms, a golf course…I could keep going.
History makes the hotel unique, and inside you’ll see plenty of antiques specific to the era of the building. Walk down a short path that sets adjacent to hotel, to get to the antique car museum.
You’ll see the Ford Model T, a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham, and a list of other classics, in the appropriately rustic setting.
Toward the back, and down a few stairs, is a 1921 American LaFrance fire truck that once served Asheville. Visiting the museum is an awesome side activity, that will take about 20 minutes to run through, or more if you want to read all of the signage.
