4th of July in Jackson, Ga

We had a low key Fourth of July; we bought some barbecue from Fresh Air, which is pretty famous in the south, and we went to the annual fireworks display the town puts on. It’s quite an impressive show with about 20 minutes of continuous, explosive color.

An Elvis impersonator kept things lively, and kids played on a huge blow up slip n’ slide while an ice cream truck cruised the parking lot.

If you ever roll through Jackson on the Fourth of July, hit up the Daughtry Park celebration. Happy Independence Day!
